 +  - 0.3 ml sterile water injected into a lavender top, 3.0 ml K2-EDTA BD Vacutainer CBC tube (each tube has 5.4 mg K2-EDTA)

 +  - Poor the contents into a second lavender top tube (will have to remove the tops of both tubes), repeat step 2
